Nighttime Routine and Morning Refresh TC Week 2- Day 1 Hair
Since my curls turned out so well I decided to experiment with my nighttime regimen of NOT braiding/twisting/banding my hair. So I just wrap my satin scarf around my head or put on my satin bonnet and sleep. This is how my hair looks in the morning....smooshed on the sides and back.
yet my curls are still intact.....just smooshed.
I took a shower and let my hair absorb the mist and then I spritzed my hair all over with warm water mixed a little conditioner in a spray bottle...no hands in the hair...just spritz. This is the result after the water penetrates...curls fill out...
Nice, Deidra! Those curls are poppin', chica! :-D I used to have almost the same morning routine when I was doing the TC method. It's nice to just wake up, spritz and go in the AM, isn't it?
Thanks Sabrina! I just saw your blog today and I'm loving your curly girl update. I would love to share my story on your blog...just let me know what I need to do!
thanks my dear!!!! mind u this is day 1 hair....I'll need to post pics of later in the week...as you know the fresh look disappears little by little BUT this is the best my hair has held up and looked with curls since I became natural!!
I love your hair. I have asked if my hair is too short for this method (and I don't have a Denman brush), but no one has replied. I think I will give it a try anyway, what can it hurt.
Thank you Sharon. Sorry if I missed your question. Where did you post it? How long is your hair? Do you have any pics I can see? There is no harm in trying. For short/twa length hair it would be good to twirl each section of curl around your finger so it would end up being almost a coil or spiral. I don't know if you've checked the website Tightly Curly for the pics of different styles and hair lengths. You can see some here.. http://mylegofuncreations.blogspot.com/ Look under the 'doodles' section. Please share how you make out and if you have any questions, please ask. Happy Curls!!
